Registrations for residents of Cumberland/North Yarmouth opens on 2/4/25 at 8:00am.
Registrations for non-residents opens on 2/11/25 at 8:00am.
Open to Greely students in grades 3-5. Registrations for the Spring session will open on March 5th through the C/NY Recreation Department. More information on the program can be found below.
Open to kids grades 6-8. This program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Registrations for the Spring session will open in early April. More information on the program can be found below.
A beginner program for kids ages 5-9. This program runs on Saturday afternoons for 5 weeks. Registrations will open in early April. See below for more information.
Open to kids ages 7-14. This program is by far our most popular. Operated on a weekly basis during Summer vacation, we run 7 total weeks with max registrations for each week set at 35 kids. These programs have historically sold out in the first few weeks of registrations opening. Additional information on the structure of the program, the fees, and the different options of camp can be found below.

Camp Overview
We offer both Full Day and Half Day camps. Both camps start the day with 3 hours of instruction at the practice facilities. Campers are rotated through different stations focusing on the different aspects of golf. At the conclusion of the morning session, we break for lunch. Lunch is provided by Rachel's on the Green and is included with the registration fee. In the afternoon, Full Day campers get to test out their skills on the golf course, while counselors teach the importance of course management and the rules of golf. The full day session concludes with chipping/putting practice and contests until pickup.
In 2025, we will be offering 7 weeks of camp from late-June to early-August. The schedule is as
follows:
Session 1 – June 23rd – June 27th (M-F)
Session 2 – June 30th – July 3rd (M-T) *No Camp on Friday 7/4
Session 3 – July 7th – July 11th (M-F)
Session 4 – July 14th – July 18th (M-F)
Session 5 – July 21st – July 25th (M-F)
Session 6 – July 28th – August 1st (M-F)
Session 7 – August 4th – August 8th (M-F)
Registrations: All registrations will be done through the Cumberland/NY Recreation department and they will open on February 4th for Residents and February 11th for Non-Residents.
Registration Limits: Each session is limited to 20 full day campers and 15 half day campers.
Provided for Each Camper: Each camper will receive a collared golf shirt on the first day of camp. Lunch is provided everyday for each camper and is catered by Rachel's on the Green. Campers will fill out a lunch menu on Monday morning for the entire week. Clubs can be provided for anyone that doesn't already have clubs.

Full Day Camps (Ages 8-14)
Days/Time: Monday to Thursday (9am to 4pm) and Friday (9am to 12:30pm)
Fee: $419 (Residents)/ $449 (Non-Residents)
Description: Full Day camps provide an excellent opportunity for junior golfers to improve their fundamentals and develop strong course management skills. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their skill level and age in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible. This program is suited for any golfer, regardless of experience level. Instructors will tailor their instruction to suit each golfers needs.

Half Day Camps (Ages 7-13)
Days/Time: Monday to Friday (9am to 12:30pm)
Fee: $249 (Residents)/ $279 (Non-Residents)
Description: Half Days camps are designed as an entry for new golfers to receive hands-on instruction and for families with afternoon conflicts that cannot commit to a full day of camp. For 3 hours each day, campers learn skills with a strong emphasis placed on basic fundamentals and having fun! The half day camp includes one morning of on-course play.
This popular junior golf program is offered as an introduction to golf basics and is a perfect way for junior golfers to get golf instruction before the school year ends. We focus heavily on grip and stance, chipping and putting, full swings, rules, and golf etiquette. This program also provides the opportunity to play on the golf course for the junior golfers that we deem "Course Ready". This program is held on Early Release Wednesdays from late-April to the end of the school year.
Dates/Times: Wednesday's 12:30pm - 5:00 pm; April 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22, June 5
Fee: $220
Registration: Opens March 5th on the CNY Recreation Website (This program will fill up in the first 10 minutes of registration being open)
This program gives an introduction to the schedule of a High School Golf Team. We run an instructional practice on Tuesday's from 3:30pm to 5:00pm and a "match" on Thursday's from 3:30pm to 5:00pm which gives the kids the opportunity to play their own golf ball on the course and in a semi-competitive format against other kids in the program. This program runs for 7 weeks and will meet 14 times. If we have to cancel a class due to weather issues, then we will make up a class at the end of the program.

This program is our introduction to golf for kids ages 5-9. This program is perfect for kids that have never touched a golf club before or for families that want to see their child's potential interest in golf before committing to one of our other programs. We use the Driving Range to work on full swing shots with Drivers, Fairway Woods, and Irons and we use our two putting greens to cover on Chipping and Putting. All of our instruction is tailored for complete beginners and while our hope is to set a foundation of golf knowledge for young kids, our main goal is for each participant to enjoy their time at golf. We offers golf clubs to borrow for this program, so equipment is not required.
